A Physical Manifestation of ‘Ladies and Gentlemen, We Are Floating in Space’

I wish I had been able to be in this room alone for an hour and just lay underneath the light beam…I also wish the light had warmth in a cold dark room, but alas, the effort wasn’t there and it was a small room filled with a little too many people (but thank goodness I was able to go in twice without having to wait in a line which others did later on in the day for over an hour and left completely disappointed). Despite the installation being slightly under par for me, I actually loved the idea of it - I’m also a little bias as it was based on one of my favorite songs…how many songs you love are given a physical/tangible context?

The entire spectacle for the Creators Project’s 2 day event was really lovely. Despite overall installations being so-so, just running into a whole lot of friends under a perfect sun on the waterfront was what made the event worthwhile.
